Organised by the UCT Alumni office at the suggestion of Dr Saunders, the Reunion marked 100 years of student government at UCT. The SRC's of the 1980's were well-represented, and had to be evicted from Smuts Dining Hall at 1am after the Gala Dinner, by which time the red wine had run out. Highlights of the Reunion weekend were the Campus Tour (old Green Level building has disappeared); Glenn's remarks at the Colloquium, encouraging current student leaders to be more radical; and the Gala Dinner at Smuts Hall.
